Outside Territory Sales Representative
Western United States


In this Territory Sales position, you will be selling directly to hospitals, physical therapy departments both in-patient and out-patient, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities and to dealer channel partners. This position requires both the ability to close deals but to also maintain long-term relationships to maintain the LifeWalker brand and to introduce future products. The Territory Sales position will directly report to the V.P. of Sales & Marketing. This position requires face to face demonstrations with physicians, physical therapists, purchasers and end user customers.  The position also requires 80% travel.



Operational Excellence

  • Achieves territorial sales objectives in all quota categories, consistently.

  • Develops a Monthly Action Plan that supports the needs of their territory and region.

  • Operates with a disciplined call process; following the product and customer detail plans for their territory.

  • In-service of clinicians to initiate trials and conversion to sales.

  • Maintains a comprehensive and accurate customer database within the CRM.

  • Develops and maintains a synergistic working relationship with the inside sales team, marketing team, and the entire regional team

  • Completes and submits on a timely basis all required reports.



  • Demonstrated proficiency in professional direct selling skills.

  • Ability to meet goals and key performance objectives/activities in accordance with established competencies and standards of behavior.

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and to tradeshows and meetings as required. Overnights weekly.

  • Ability to assess and qualify customer needs, provide excellent customer service, analyze territorial needs, and consistently demonstrate effective selling skills.



  • Must have proven strong interpersonal communication skills, both on and off the phone, to be able to interface with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Strong and comfortable presentation and listening skills.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.

  • 3-5 years of documented consistent quota success, preferably in a B2B position or healthcare.



  • Experience with some type of CRM system helpful.

  • Ability to use various internal databases and appropriate software to make presentations to customers.
